Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

I got this error message during the distribution upgrade to 9.10
"subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit status 2"

See logs attached. Note that I also received an "error during commit" at the end of the upgrade. Not sure if they are related. That bug is https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/483979
