Bug Description

Right now the GNOME panel applet scrolls through the track title, author, album and what not. I'd be happy with just <artist> - <title> without the scrolling, so it would be nice if that could be configured.

omg is the bug reporter got something wrong with him/her ?? The scrolling info animation is what makes the Panflute/Music applet cool !!

The text should be right aligned! If you have it quite wide to accommodate long song titles then when a short song title comes up it appears to sit in the middle of nowhere.

It wouldn't be difficult to add an alignment option, but that belongs in a separate feature request / bug report.

Thanks for the new release Paul. However, I can't find out how to configure it. There's a text input field and an Add button, I wrote "<artist> - <title>" and clicked Add but nothing happened. What am I supposed to do?

Also, there's a lot of padding in that text field, is that a bug?

It uses Python format strings. Clicking the Add button will open a menu that will insert them for you.
