Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-settings-
** Bug Description **
If I change certain user settings (such as system theme in the appearance applet or changing volume) and then quickly log out, the changes are not saved. However, if I wait longer (perhaps a minute or more) before logging out, the changes are saved.
Strangely, this does not happen with the second user account I created, only the first. This problem is reproducible for me over two installs of Karmic.
Two factors that might be playing a role in this: I am using home encryption and EXT4.

I haven't been able to reproduce this with the latest build (9.10 RC with all updates as of 10/27/09). I will do some more testing to ensure that the issue really is fixed.
