Fixed slots for notifications and confirmations bubbles are not working for me

Bug Description

Binary package hint: notify-osd

The new notify-osd (0.9.21) states that all confirmation dialogs should go on the top slot, and notifications bubbles on the lower slot. This is not working for me.

If I type notify-send "This is a test", it appears in the top slot. And if I then change the volume, the confirmation one would appear below the former.

I am using metacity, but people experience this using compiz as well.

It turned out to be a glitch in the packaging mixing up 0.9.20 and 0.9.21. A fixed (now proper 0.9.21) version of notify-osd has been uploaded to karmic. It should hit the repo soon.
