Bug Description
I don't know how to recreate this but almost every time I reboot the client isn't present in the task bar. But I can see it's alive because when I try to run one from the terminal it says "Ubuntu One client applet already running, quitting". I can make the client icon to appear in the task bar by doing this:
Open a nautilus and the shared folder. Click disconnect and then connect again. And the client is in the task bar for about a minute then again disappears in oblivion.
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
CrashDB: ubuntuone
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
Package: ubuntuone-client 0.92.0+
PackageArchitec
ProcEnviron:

SourcePackage: ubuntuone-client

Uname: Linux 2.6.28-14-generic i686
UnreportableReason: This is not a genuine Ubuntu package
I have this same problem. The applet is present for a minute or so when I logon to my computer, or if I disconnect and then reconnect from inside the Ubuntu One folder in Nautilus, but disappears soon after. It is still running, as a ps shows as well as the "Ubuntu One client applet already running, quitting" error message in the terminal. Also, dragging and dropping files into the nautilus folder correctly syncs the file with the service.
