Bug Description
After installing the 133 updates KPackageKit identified today, Grub no longer displays the startup menu allowing me to select FreeDOS or memtest or any of the other entries. It also doesn't give any hint a key could be hit to display the menu, simply boots Karmic.
Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
Release: 9.10

Please see bug 411584 for details, including a link to workaround instructions posted to ubuntu- devel-announce (which I'd advise you subscribe to if you're running Karmic).
