Bug Description
Currently when browsing with Firefox to:
https:/
Launchpad will determine your distroseries (Jaunty/Karmic) from the browser's user-agent data. This is not working for Chromium/Google Chrome.
To reproduce, visit the above URL.
Expected result: The apt-url distro series selector should have your current distroseries selected by default (assuming it's one of jaunty...dapper).
Actual result: The "Choose your Ubuntu version" prompt is selected by default.
Note: this could just be incorrect user-agent settings with the linux version of chrome, but it'll be easy to check.

I didn't realise, but I was told that we can only do this with Firefox because the FF in ubuntu is patched to add the distro and version. So it's not possible to do this with Chromium until it's packaged in Ubuntu.
