I would like to ask a port of Firefox 3.5 to Jaunty (32 as 64bit version).

Firefox 3.5 is already in jaunty.

Only the firefox metapackage does not depend on it.

If you look this url http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/amd64/firefox-3.5/filelist
you'll see that it's a beta version.

I had to ask the ubuntu developers:
<c_korn> is firefox 3.5 in jaunty a beta or the final release? http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/firefox-3.5
<c_korn> the file list suggests that it is the beta 4. http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/amd64/firefox-3.5/filelist
