Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver

All I did was boot the PC from the daily live cdimage (karmic-desktop-amd64 from today 9th July 2009), choose to use nonfree driver for my Nvidia card when asked, run (and finished) the System Testing from Administration and decided to look at the screen savers. I opened the Screensaver preferences and the crash occured. I didn't even click on anything.

Thank you for your report!

However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate an useful symbolic stack trace). This
might be caused by some outdated packages which were installed on your system
at the time of the report:

dbus: installed version 1.2.14-2ubuntu6, latest version: 1.2.14-2ubuntu7
libdbus-1-3: installed version 1.2.14-2ubuntu6, latest version: 1.2.14-2ubuntu7
dbus-x11: installed version 1.2.14-2ubuntu6, latest version: 1.2.14-2ubuntu7

Please upgrade your system to the latest package versions. If you still
encounter the crash, please file a new report.

Thank you for your understanding, and sorry for the inconvenience!
