thanks for the report, any chance to attach any of those files to the report? could be a gstreamer issue.

I have this bug in Ubuntu 9.10 alpha 6. I will attach a sample file with this problem. This appears to be a regression as these podcasts appeared with the time in 9.04, but no longer show the time.

mp3 file with no "unknown" time Edit (8.8 MiB, audio/mpeg)

The Time displays as "Unknown" for this mp3 file.
