Bug Description
I installed Flight 6 on a Intel Serverboard STL2 with 2 x Pentium III 1 GHz, 2 Gbytes RAM and 2 x 18 Gb SCSI disks using Adaptec 2100S I2O SCSI controller in RAID-1.
It hangs at startup on "Waiting for root filesystem". It cannot find partition (but it was able to find & format it during installation).
Another error worth mentioning is that during startup it claims that it cannot reserve PCI mem region #1. However, it correctly identifies the SCSI controller and the drives attached to it.
1. Live CD FL6 works, even after installing it permanently to HDD.
2. Latest Mandriva works.
3. Ubuntu 5.10 doesn't work (it crashes on startup)
I always had issues with Ubuntu and that server machine, I hope you can fix this - otherwise I will have to continue to use Mandriva.

Perhaps we're forgetting to copy the relevant module for this I2O controller into the initramfs?
