Bad font kerning

Bug Description

Some rendered text appears too close together, resulting in missing letters.

This also appears to affect selection of text, the kerning changing depending on the selection made (only seen if affected line is selected).

E.g.
http://yet-to.be/wordpress/2006/03/28/what-happens-when/

the word "finish", letters "in".

Alteration of the kerning of selected text only occurs if the selected text is after the initial kerning bug.

This happens also in Mandriva Firefox/1.0.7

 Just to test it, you could create a new user, download and install Firefox directly from Mozilla, and try to reproduce the bug.

Just tried Firefox from Mozilla as a new user, and renders as expected.

Will try to find out if its my config thats causing the problems.
