Install any plugin problem

We need some more information:
1) what plugin(s) did you install?
2) what ubuntu distribution? are you using ubuntu? kubuntu? xubuntu?

I had the same problem running the last snapshot of EasyUbuntu (2006-04-27) on a fresh install of xubuntu (last night xubuntu install cd on a k6-2 400MHz)

I'm trying to install Xine, free and binary codecs, real player, midi, flash, java, the 3 archives, MS fonts and numlock,
EasyUbuntu succeeds in downloading and configuring the packages but then hangs with the following message.

I only have this computer for a couple of days, so feel free to ask for additionnal information, but quickly ;)

That EasyUbuntu version is old. A new version of EasyUbuntu, 3.0, will be released in the near future. In the meantime, try the beta release: http://robotgeek.org/eu/easyubuntu-3.0-beta.tar.gz. Be aware that you will be beyond bleeding edge if you try this. I encourage you to file bugs if you find any.
