Binary package hint: thunderbird
I use an imap-account at AIM-Mail. In the last few days I replied some mail to a single sender. The new mail (replied mail) will not be saved in the sent-folder after it was sent. I looked in all other folders, but there was no mail with the spcified content. I suggest, the error happens since upgrading to version 2.0.0.21. My used OS is Ubuntu 8.10 with the latest updates and fixes.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates.
