Bug Description
1 Open the Synaptic Package Manager: System-
2 Search for 'sun-java'
3 Mark the 'sun-java5-bin' for installation, and allow all other necessary packages to be installed
4 Apply the changes to install Java5
I got the error shown in the summary.
I expected the installation to complete without error.
I went back to synaptic and clicked Apply again and the installation completed.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 64 bit.

From the log file it doesn't look like you accepted the license for the package. Could you try reinstalling it and accepting the license this time? Thanks in advance.
