No logout sound

Bug Description

I don't hear logout sound.

In interpid, also I didn't hear button click effects, but they work now.
Maybe gnome ignores /usr/share/gnome/shutdown/libcanberra-logout-sound.sh

(If I launch the above manually I do hear the sound)

I worked around by adding a line like the following in /etc/gdm/PostSession/Default (though that seems kind of "dirty" to me)
/usr/bin/canberra-gtk-play --file=/usr/share/sounds/ubuntu/stereo/desktop-logout.ogg
