GUI items moving after every program restart

Bug Description
I do not know how to describe it... After every quit/start the GUI is all messed up - the chat, download/upload list and the nick list change their width/height. It's been happening ever since i started using the 0.707 and now 0709 builds. I'm interested to see if there is someone else having this sort of problem. If there are some kind of logs or whatever is needed please tell me. The OS is Ubuntu 9.04, but it happened on 8.10 too.

This seems the same as bug 354979. Please see my comments in that bug. I am unable to reproduce. Please provide some sort of before and after screenshot and more exact steps to reproduce. Also, monitor the value of the LinuxDC++.xml pane field and let us know the values before and after.
