Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Setting a panel as transparent through its properties in Ubuntu Jaunty no longer works correctly. Applets on the panel keep a grey background. They do not have a transparent background. Logging out and back in again does not fix the problem.

lsb_release -rd gives:
Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04

GNOME gnome-panel 2.26.0
