Bug Description

When booting to desktop (gnome) in Ubuntu 9.04 (x64) for the first time it notified that there is a restricted driver for the ati embedded card on my asus m3a78-pro motherboard. When allowing the install it takes about 5 minutes before the status bar shows progress..this can be misinterpreted as an installer hang.
