Bug Description
Binary package hint: xfce4-settings
Using package xfce4-settings (4.5.99.1-0ubuntu1) in xubuntu jaunty 9.04 development version. To reproduce this bug, go to Applications > Settings > Settings Editor.
Select xfce4-settings-
If you open Applications > Settings > Xfce4 Settings Manager, and then go back to the settings editor, the value reappears, but the desired value is that the value should not disappear in the first place.

Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here. Thanks for taking the time to make Ubuntu better!
I can confirm this as reported in an amd64 Xubuntu installation. There is one additional issue in that for me, the value did not reappear. I am now left with no window width line even after restarting the settings editor.
