Media Control: doesn't show anything

Bug Description
If a player is started via the button in Media Control button and it runs Rhythmbox which is stopped, clicking the applet will not do anything, The applet will start reacting only once Rhythmbox starts playing.
Also if there isn't any supported player detected the applet doesn't show anything, perhaps it should display "No supported media player detected."
