Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

HI,

After an update has been done today.My firefox has also been updated and after the update the firefox is intimating that your bowser has been updated and needs to be restarted.Whwn I am pressing restart the browser closes and once again opened and in a certain few seconds the application once again prompts that your browser has been updated and needs to be restarted.
Note:
Hence on further diging i am able to find out that the mozilla update notifier has been crashed.due to some reasons.
These is the same case for the vuze SOftware also.
Please check out it seems to be a complex security bug.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears
to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security
issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to
cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy.
Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.
