I installed the latest update that the system presented me a couple weeks ago.
When the system prompted me to restart firefox, I did. The information "lightbulb" stayed on.
So, I rebooted, hoping this would solve the problem. It still did not solve it. So I tried to remove firefox
altogether via Synaptic. The package still will not be removed. The lightbulb persists.
I don't know if this is a problem with update-manager, the .deb, or system messaging.
Please let me know if there is any other information I could provide that will assist you in solving this problem.
