Bug Description
Static IP configuration does not work with Network Manager. It's a fresh Intrepid install (not an upgrade): the default is DHCP and it works well. When I changed to Static IP and restart networking, the IP changed fine and the network works locally, but DNS resolutions will not work, even though the manual setting for DNS is there.
Then after rebooting, the system reverts to DHCP by itself, loosing all static config.
