Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
After a fresh install of the Ubuntu 8.10 alternate CD on my laptop, the xserver fails to load.
The error messages seen on screen after a startx :
(EE) CHROME(0): No valid modes found
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration
Workaround : very simply, by changing the xorg.conf file by another one (in comments)
