Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Here are errors:

1. Could not install 'landscape-common'

The upgrade will continue but the 'landscape-common' package may be in a not working state. Please consider submitting a bugreport about it.

2. Could not install 'avahi-autoipd'

The upgrade will continue but the 'avahi-autoipd' package may be in a not working state. Please consider submitting a bugreport about it.

3. Could not install 'tdsodbc'

The upgrade will continue but the 'tdsodbc' package may be in a not working state. Please consider submitting a bugreport about it.

4. Could not install 'speech-dispatcher'

The upgrade will continue but the 'speech-dispatcher' package may be in a not working state. Please consider submitting a bugreport about it.

So, no normal upgrade was provided. Update-manager just closed before CleanUp and Restart.

I found that pakage 'tdsodbc' couldn't be reconfigured with error 'Could remove folder: /var/lib/odbc'. So, this folder already was removed by another package

Could U provide Ubuntu 8.10 UPGRADE script with command execution for update-manager. I wanna run not executed
steps manually.

Plus this one:

The freetds error is a duplicate of #254953

Changed in freetds:
status:	New → Invalid

Thanks for support. I understand bugs summary and already fixed it for my self per bug. But the main issue for me is abnormal end of Upgrade process (not executed last critical step 'Clean-up'). Could U provide execution commands for this to manual fix OR it similar to 'apt-get autoremove --purge && apt-get autoclean'
