Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
When update-manager installs a update to Firefox, it shows a message in the notification area that Firefox needs to be restarted, as it has done for quite some time. However, in Intrepid, if Firefox is running, it will also show a notification bar asking the user to restart Firefox. This bar has a close button, and can be closed, but it reappears a second or two later.

confirmed. we have dedundant means. the notification bulb should probably go away completely at some point. but that requires an upstream fix outside of ubufox.
