UI is partially translucent. Inconsistent with the rest of GNOME

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor

I am using the NewHuman gtk theme (i.e. the dark theme in Intrepid) and the background areas of the System Monitor are partially translucent.

While this kind of UI bling is nice, it only makes any sense if it is applied globally across applications. As far as I can see, System Monitor is the only application which currently does this, and so it looks very out of place.

Yes, that looks like the same thing, and I am running compiz.
I'm not sure why it would be a bug in compiz though - this will be the application itself, or its Gtk theme, setting RGBA colourspace instead of RGB, I think?

I have the same problem which goes away when I disable compiz.
