npviewer.bin cannot find libxcb-render.so.0 although libxcb-render is installed

Binary package hint: nspluginwrapper

I noticed the problem when I tried to reinstall flashplugin-nonfree, which failed with the error message:
/usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/i386/linux/npviewer.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libxcb-render-util.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
nspluginwrapper: no appropriate viewer found for /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so

Therefore I checked "ldd /usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/i386/linux/npviewer.bin" which gives:

 libxcb-render-util.so.0 => not found
 libxcb-render.so.0 => not found
...
