Bug Description
Hi,
I'm the author/maintainer of GNU Queue, and I use mailman in a number of
ways, including managing several lists of several hundred people each on
Sourceforge that is associated with GNU Queue.
I've clarified the message at the bottom of the screen to make it clear
that the 'listinfo' link is where to unsubscribe:
http://
so now it appears as
_______
Queue-developers mailing list <email address hidden>
To unsubscribe, subscribe, or set options:
http://
Even so, some users complain that they can't find the
unsubscription option in the above page, because it is hidden in `edit
options'. As a result, I sometimes get mail from them, and must response
(either
being polite and manually unsubscribing them, which is a time consuming)
or
sending them a message back saying to go to `edit options' (which is
impolite but saves me a little time.)
Could these pages please be redesigned in mailman to make it very clear
where to click to get off the list? There should be one big link at the
top saying in bold letters CLICK HERE TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS LIST
which then takes you to the `edit options' page, so that no one can pretend
that it is easier to send me an email than to
read through the page to find the unsubscribe link?
Many thanks in advance,

I completely agree. It's too late to do this for 2.0, but it should be
addressed for 2.1.
