Bug Description

FreeNX is a kind of succession for the VNC. With it you can connect to a remote Linux computer, but it is a lot faster, even on low bandwidth because of a specially designed compression library. You can download stuff from the remote server too, plus much more stuff. It is much more secure too, since it uses ssh as a backend. To know more about it you can visit: http://www.nomachine.com/products.php

The source codes are available on:
http://www.nomachine.com/sources.php

Thank you for taking the time to request this package and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately you have not provided enough information for a developer to start packaging this application. Please make sure this bug meets the guidelines at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages. An example of a complete package request is available at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages.

Well, as long as I could see, the only information missed was the license, which is GPLv2.

Thanks for the license info.
I see there is a .deb available from the company website at http://www.nomachine.com/download-package.php?Prod_Id=6

@Kemel: Are you requesting the nomachine code to be packaged or the freenx code from http://freenx.berlios.de/?

In the former case, I assume this bug wouldn't be a duplicate of bug 183801.
