Bug Description

A number of +participation pages seem to OOPS on edge. For example:

  https://edge.launchpad.net/~kamion/+participation (OOPS-970EB132)
  https://edge.launchpad.net/~themuso/+participation (OOPS-970EA115)
  https://edge.launchpad.net/~ccheney/+participation (OOPS-970EA116)
  https://edge.launchpad.net/~mdz/+participation (OOPS-970EC126)

However, https://edge.launchpad.net/~liw/+participation and https://edge.launchpad.net/~james-w/+participation both work; perhaps this is connected with membership of certain teams?

Exception type AssertionError
Exception value kamion is an indirect member of mythbuntu-bugs but kamion is not a participant in any direct member of mythbuntu-bugs

Yesterday, ubuntu-dev-without-bugmail was added as a member of mythbuntu (a superteam of mythbuntu-bugs), and today u-d-w-b was kicked from mythbuntu. My guess is that a bug in our code prevented the members of u-d-w-b from being removed from mythbuntu-bugs at that time.

We have a script to check this sort of membership/participation inconsistencies and after running it on production we'll be able to fix these inconsistencies. The fix for the actual bug will come soon.

Incidentally, one of the greasemonkey scripts in the Launchpad GM Scripts project uses the +participation url to determine team membership for displaying team icons. The +participation url is checked for every bug commenter, so you may see a higher than expected number of these OOPS reports depending on that script's user base.
