Bug Description
Project +edit pages are currently immense. Lots of people miss parts of them, and they're some of the foulest and longest pages on LP. There is an easy way to reduce them which makes more sense with the new layout.
I should be able to alter which Launchpad applications my project uses with a usual edit icon next to the assertions about those properties on the project homepage. The same with licenses. While at it, it might be advisable to move the Code checkbox below the bugs section, as I hadn't noticed it before now. Renaming the options to have more consistent text would also be good.
The development focus should be set somewhere else as well - this is often missed, and really doesn't fit there.

Much of this bug has been solved through on-going UI improvements. Configuring Launchpad applications can now be done via links on the project page.
The issue with setting the development focus is not done but is covered by bug 274498.
And bug 394836 is in reference to editing external links.
I'm going to mark this bug fix released as most of the work is on edge and the remaining work is covered by the other bugs.
