Bug Description

Due to the not-jpeg-support of our cairo-gradient helper function the preview for youtube thumbnails fails. This prints a traceback everytime which makes the UI lock.

this patch catches the exception so that the mirror is missing but the preview is there and the UI does not lock Edit (635 bytes, text/x-diff)
