Bug Description

When using a fresh checkout of elisa branch 0.3.4.final (even without a .elisa dir), both uninstalled and installed, unpredictable behaviour is seen

For example, sometimes she starts fullscreen, sometimes not; if the updater:updater_service is activated, it looks like sometimes it is run and sometimes not.

Here are two log files of a start of Elisa, one when Elisa succeeds to start in fullscreen, and one when it fails to start in fullscreen, they might prove useful to understand this behaviour.
The logs were obtained with PGM_DEBUG=5 and ELISA_DEBUG=5.
