Bug Description

It'd be nice to have a nice splash screen. Making it with Pigment would probably be the best but a simple window a la openoffice.org might suffice.

pigment:ticket:170 isn't targeted for 0.3.3 milestone.

Not really related with pigment #170. It is about opening a borderless window with a nice picture in it.

2nd Patch, that acts a bit nicer: displays the splash not depending on time, but when the frontend got initilized

finally the correct image gets used, so it is fixed in [changeset:4890]
