Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus (Ubuntu 8.04)

I have a Kubuntu Gutsy 7.10 fileserver with samba shared EXT3 filesystems.
I access this fileserver through a Windows XP machine or (K)Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 LTS machine.
On the Ubuntu Hardy machine Nautilus shows permissions and ownership as "unknown"
However, when i use the Dolphin filemanager under Kubuntu or installed in Ubuntu, permissions and ownership can be seen.
I would like to see permissions and ownership of a samba shared ext3 filesystem through Nautilus (Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 LTS).

I find this to be very annoying. Can some one inform me what the problem is?
