Bug Description
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Rhythmbox skips randomly while playing all types of music files. The skipping doesn't occur in the same place every time, and it seems to be totally random. This started happening since I upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04. I've seen in some othewr threads that the crossfade option can cause this, but I'm not running that option.
Computer is a Dell Inspiron 5100 with 2.4 GHz processor and 512mb ram.
rhythmbox --version
GNOME rhythmbox 0.11.5

Thank you for your bug report. Do you get the issue if you don't run pulseaudio and use alsasink in the gstreamer- properties dialog?
