[hardy RC] chfn unable to dlopen pam modules during installation

On a recent netboot installation of Ubuntu 8.04 RC I noticed a number of pam related errors within the log file. Any time that users were created/edited there was an error unable to find a pam module. It appears that all of them were in regards to the pam_smbpass.so file.

Attached is the entire log, but here is a sample of some of the file not found errors:
