bad localisation firefox 3 beta 5

The problem arises if Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.5~rc1 is installed and activated.
Disable it and it will go away.

And if so, does that mean this bug should be against ubufox instead of firefox-3.0? Lanzen, is there more info on this bug somewhere, since you knew to disable it? Is this bug known elsewhere? Thanks!

After doing all kind of test as I had just noticed that this bug wasn't affecting firefox 3 on my desktop machine I eventually discovered that ubufox was actually - don't ask me why ;) - disabled there.

The same affect happens in firefox 2 and when I disabled that extension on all firefoxes the bug went away.

I think bugs bug #212987 and #212446 are the same bug reported here.
