cannot confirm email address. I am doing everything right

Bug Description

Sad this one account is so hard to get in. I clicked on the link sent on email and received a message "you are not authorized." Is this the Ubuntu spirit?

Hi,

I understand how frustrating it can be to have issues with online accounts. Unfortunately, this bug tracker is not the best place for this issue until it has been confirmed to be a problem on our end, so for now I have marked this bug as "Invalid". This doesn't mean that we don't believe the problem is important! I'd like to invite you to send an email to <email address hidden>, with the email address that's causing the issue in the subject; we'll then be able to process this through the usual support channels and get you set up.
