Bug Description

When I open DVD in gxine, in context menu (Video->Deinterlace) deinterlace is checked, but it is actualy not turned on (I see it). If I click on it, the checkbox went off. Deinterlace remain off. Finally I must click even once to turn deinterlace on. Then it is working. Seems like initial check status in menu is wrong.

You're using tvtime deinterlacing. Disable the "use progressive flag" option in the tvtime settings (deinterlacer plugin chain configuration), and I think that you'll find that it starts working, even when it's not actually needed. Or you can switch to the "pp" deinterlacer.

In short, this is a xine-lib bug.
