sorry I don't understand. Hardy automatically opened a crash report window
and asked if I wanted to send in a bug report. I said yes, being helpful.

now you make it my fault, and close this problem without any consideration.

No. Doesnt make sense. Either you have an automatic crash report thing and
use the input, or you dont. This half way house is the kind of rubbish
reponse that one gets from microsoft.

I had a similar problem after an Alpha 5 update yesterday. After
the update, I had an error message for gnome-applets keyboard.
The update had a problem with the keyboard indicator I use in
my panel. In addition to the error message, the update icon
mentioned that there were dependency problems. I fixed the
dependencies in synaptic, but I could not add the keyboard
indicator without error messages. Since the update also installed a new
kernel (24-10), I rebooted, same error message. I then thought
I should remove the old kernel (24-8 generic), but it removed
gnome and I had to reinstall everything.
