small fonts after fresh install of xfce4

Bug Description

after installing a new xfce4 on a fresh ubuntu (7.10) install i get tiny fonts when i log into xfce4 (gnome is just fine!)

adding the following solved it:
edit /home/USER-ACCOUNT/.config/xfce4/Xft.xrdb
adding "Xft.dpi: 96" and saving it.

re-login into xfce4 shows fonts correctly.

please see if you need to fix this globally or did i have a local bug ?

Does this still occur on 8.04 and on the 8.10 beta images?

i do not have xfce installed (that system/computer) any longer :-)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - the Intrepid Ibex.
