"Ubuntu appindicators" extension doesn't stay activated

Bug Description
The "Ubuntu appindicators" extension doesn't stay enabled. (And doesn't work.)
WHAT I DID:
1) In gnome-tweaks, enable "Ubuntu appindicators". changing.)
2) Exit gnome tweaks.
3) Return to gnome tweaks.
WHAT HAPPENS:
The toggle for "Ubuntu appindcators" is off.
WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN:
The toggle should be on.
OTHER:
After enabling it in gnome-tweaks, nothing happens except for the toggle state changing.
