Bug Description
Since I did the upgrade to 20.04 vlc does no longer close correctly. If I close vlc while a video is still playing, the window disappears but a vlc process keeps active in my process-list. Also the little systray-icon stays. If I browse thru many videos a lot of vlc processes clutter up my system. If the video is stopped, vlc closes regularly.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a video with vlc
2. Close the player while the video is playing
What happens:
The vlc window vanishes, but a vlc process stays active in the background, consuming memory. If enabled the systray-icon also stays
