Bug Description

Binary package hint: sbackup

In gutsy, sbackup apparently ignoers the max file size. I have it set to 10MB with the GUI, and this is what I get in /etc/sbackup.conf:

maxsize = 10485760

Nonetheless, my full backup includes files far bigger than 10 MB.

I believe a possible solution is documented here:

Does it work for you?

Sorry for the delay. At last, just before going to vacation, I had the time to check and yes, it does make a difference. I tried both with and without the patch. Files bigger than maxsize are not backed up with a patched sbackupd.py.

Thank you

Here is the patch from the user drakosha from the sf.net patch tracker. What else can I do to get it fixed in intrepid?
