I set duplicate again without noticed what tjaalton has done.

Let's verify if the patch in bug 1849278 also fixes bug 1826691.

re-setting the duplicate status, this should be a dupe of 1849278

1826691 is about amd/synaptics, while this seems to be about intel/CML PCH

Verified patch from bug 1849278, created PPA https://launchpad.net/~vicamo/+archive/ubuntu/ppa-1849278 for it, and this does not fix the issue and the error messages can still be found. However, a v5.4-rc4 mainline kernel is immune from this issue, so we'll continue to find the fixing commit to backport.

v5.3.7 is still affected, and then gets fixed in v5.4-rc1.
