Bug Description
Would like to have the ability to disable touchpad altogether in System -> Mouse Preferences -> Touchpad. Need to ask user to confirm before disabling. This option is already in gsynaptics (Universe), but would be nice to have this option supported in Main repository.

Setting gnome-control- center as affected, since this is about the UI functionality.
