Bug Description
Installed from master this afternoon and I notice a load of 9 on an idle system. I also noted high disk i/o:
Running `iostat 3` shows me pretty consistent write operations on /dev/vda, mounted at /.

Watching io stats via `iotop` might be useful.
I think we need to investigate and try to determine what's causing the high disk usage (microk8s vs. cdk, for example), and make sure relationship join/changed handlers aren't firing more than they're supposed to.
